With your Race Pass you’ll gain access to events across the US. The ‘25 Race Season features 40+ destinations across the US.
Kids can race different distances with progressively harder obstacles, and while it’s all about fun, they’ll also gain grit and mental toughness too.
3 Course Types for Kids of All Ages (4-13 Years Old):
Ages 4-6: 1KM 8-10 Obstacles
Ages 7-9: 1.5KM 6-8 Obstacles
Ages 10-14: 3KM 10-12 Obstacles

4 to 14 year olds can take part without specific training. There’s even Special Spartans heats for kids with special needs. Kids simply need a desire to run outdoors and have fun. They need not be fearless or fit; both those things will develop after taking part! There are kids of all abilities and mindsets out there, and they all get to call themselves Spartans.
Comfortable clothes suitable for exercise and sturdy footwear is all that’s needed - just be aware that your kid’s gear will get wet and muddy! Pack a hat and sunscreen if it’s hot, extra layers if it’s cold, and a change of clothes and a towel for afterwards regardless of conditions. After-race refuelling of food and drinks can be purchased in the festival.

Valid for a 2025 Kids Season Pass. Kids Season Pass valid for unlimited 2025 OCR Kids Races, any distance. Kids Season Pass holders are limited to two races per day during a race weekend. Children running the 3KM Kids distances must be at least 10 years of age. Kids Season Pass comes with one buddy pass that can be shared and redeemed for one 2025 Free Kids Race, open heats only. Code not valid for any competitive distances or Kids Championship events. Code is valid for one use. Code valid through Dec. 31, 2025.
